Moontown is a delightful area on the north west coast of Barbados. The west coast of Barbados is so popular that it is becoming quite busy. However this part of the west coast has retained an unspoilt feel and has atrue Caribbean flavour with fish markets and local rum shops and eateries on one's doorstep.
Speightstown which is by far the most "local" of west coast towns and is now brimming with restaurants, shopping and municipal buildings is only a five minute drive away. Some of the best rum shop restaurants are within a few hundred meters of the development.
Grantley Adams International Airport is about thirty five minutes away and as the island is narrow in the north one can access the stunning and very different feeling of the east coast. There stunning views can be enjoyed at Cherry Tree Hill, Farley Hill or Cattlewash with the world famous Bathsheba less than twenty minutes away.
That said if you prefer the pampered lifestyle then Port St Charles and Pier One are close by as is Baia the new beachfront sister restaurant to Fusion on the roof top at Limegrove Entertainment Center.Golf is only aten minute drive at Royal Westmoreland or Sandy Lane and if you fancy a night out Holetown is about ten minutes away by car.
The area is lively, laid back and unspoilt.
Set on a small cliff Moontown is one of the most relaxing spots in Barbados full of local eateries (rum shops) fish markets and plenty of people just passing the time of day doing as little as possible.....what could be more relaxing?
SeaEsta offers a relaxed way of life in a great location. It is the perfect place to wind down. Enjoy the Caribbean lifestyle and potentially enjoy the income from your holiday home.
